In a distressing incident, a 16-year-old girl in Ghaziabad’s Kaushambi took her own life by hanging from a ceiling fan.
Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Indirapuram Swatantra Kumar Singh confirmed that the suicide note was affixed to the wall and the body has been sent for post-mortem examination.
Despite her extreme step, the teenager’s suicide note does not point fingers at anyone for her decision; however, she expressed her desire for her brother to overcome his drug addiction.

The neighbors subsequently alerted the police about the situation. Responding officers accessed the room by breaking the latch and tragically found the girl hanging.
She was swiftly transported to a private hospital, where medical professionals sadly pronounced her deceased upon arrival.
The ACP highlighted that, as of now, the family has not filed any formal complaints related to the incident. The investigation continues.
